1832: ON arrival in VDL, he was 17, single and assigned to Mr Thomas Mansfield at Launceston (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON27-1-5$init=CON27-1-5). 1841, 22 November: Granted a Ticket of Leave. 1846, 25 July: His Conditional Pardon was approved (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON34-1-3$init=CON34-1-3P438).

1831, 2 August: Convicted at Hereford for housebreaking. 1831, 2 September: He was admitted to the Cumberland prison hulk moored at Chatham; aged 16 (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849). 1832, 14 February: Sent from the Cumberland for transportation.
