Convict Department : Bellerephon, Retribution and Ganymede hulks convict lists, 1821. Thomas Bowers 30 Steag [Stealing] W? ditto [Middlesex] Jany [January] 12 1820 7 [Years] Merchant Behaved orderly in Gaol, the same here one year & eight months, but an artful? designing? man. Behaved during the whole of the voyage with the guarded property and as Clerk to the Surgeon Superintendent who imposed? great confidence on him and considered him to be a very trust worthy character.
