He was tried with Lubin Slater, and John Crossley, who also arrived on the same ship. Cheshire Assizes. LARCENY. Lubin Slater, (26). John Crossley, (21) and Ralph Bowler, (25) were indicted for stealing a number of from the shop of Joseph Ashton, at the town- ATTORNEY-GENERAL... stated the case to the jury. Joseph Ashton I keep a shop at Hollingworth ; on the mght of the 15th of April last my shop (which adjoins the house of Mr. David Roberts) was broken open, and about 79ibs of tea, 90 yards of flannel, 150 pairs of stockings, linen, &c. were stolen.
