Old Bailey 27/10/1813: ALEXANDER BOWMAN was indicted for feloniously stealing, on the 15th of October , a yard of woollen cloth, value 4 s. the property of John Maberley . SECOND COUNT, for like offence, stating it to be the property of his Majesty . GUILTY , aged 33. Transported for Seven Years . Alexander was employed by Mr Maberley, an army clothier, as a cutter. Alexander Bowman is not listed on the NSW Gov. convict records – this is the only other information I could find, and hopefully it is the right Alexander Bowman.
