Family connections for Catherine (Boyle) are: BOYLE Catherine (Boyle/Tooley) was born about 1798/1806 & undertook country work. She was tried for stealing plate, at Tipperary Ireland in 1825, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 17 5 1826 after a voyage of 4months on LADY ROWENA; she was Catholic. [If she married a (Tooley), could this person be of the (Tunney PILOT 1817) family?] She was an emancipist when she married Patrick (Carroll his second marriage)-with permission of 9 9 1826-on 4 10 1826 at St Johns CofE Parramatta & produced 1child. [Some details taken from this Website] Patrick (Carroll) was born about 1798/1802. He was tried for cow stealing at Clonmell Tipperary Ireland in 1825, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW on 3 1 1826 as a convict after a voyage of 6months on SIR GODFREY WEBSTER. He became a farmers man. He had a first relationship with Mary (Courtenay her second (2of3) relationship) about 1806. He was exempted from Government work by ticket nos.29/106 to 31/73 & assigned to his spouse. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom no.32/122or222 in April 1832.
