Colonial conviction, quarter sessions, Parramatta, 7 Apr 1827, Absconding 5 times, three years, To Sydney 18 May 1830. Moreton Bay Convict Record.Description. James Boyle, native place, Ireland, age 32, height, 5 ft 6 3/4. Fair comp. brown hair, grey eyes. Parramatta April 7th James Boyle, a runaway from Paramatta Barrack. The prisoner acknowledged this was the thirteenth time he has absconded. - 3 years to a penal settlement. Sydney Gazette, 12 Apr 1827. Return of Convicts apprehended up to this date James Boyle, Cawdry, from Port Macquarie. Sydney Gazette, 24 Jan 1833. The Cawdry arrived in New South Wales from Calcutta on 15 April 1826 bringing fourteen prisoners of the Crown.
