Per "Martha", 1818 1819 Jan 4 On list of convicts disembarked from the "Martha" and forwarded to Parramatta for distribution (Reel 6006; 4/3499 p.245) 1821 Mar 14 On list of prisoners transported to Newcastle per "Elizabeth Henrietta" (Reel 6007; 4/3503 p.170) 1823 Jan 18 Affidavit re loss of his certificate of freedom (Reel 6026; 4/1714 pp.153-4) 14 Mar 1821. On list of prisoners transported to Newcastle per "Elizabeth Henrietta" Hugh Bradley, tried by Bench at Minto, 8 Mar 1821, One year, boy per Martha, Original Conviction, Londonderry, Mar 1817, Seven years. 18 Jan 1823. Affidavit re loss of his certificate of freedom County of Cumberland. Hugh Bradley of Sydney, maketh oath and saith that he came to the Colony per ship Martha in 1818 and is free by servitude. That on the 19th of Nov last deponent left amongst sundry articles his certificate of freedom at the sign of the Black Swans in George Street Sydney on his way to get employments, after having left Dr Redfern of Campbell Field. That Deponent was amongst sundry articles as before stated robbed of his certificate of Freedom and Deponant further saith that he hath made no improper use of the same. (Signed) Hugh Bradley.
