John Bradshaw was 39 years old, and was transported for stealing 3 ewes. John was married with 5 male and 4 female children. 1845: TOL Murrurundi 1/2/1847: TOL Passport, Murrurundi Bench 13/9/1849: TOL Passport, on the recommendation of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, New England. 18/11/1847: John applied for his family to be forwarded to Sydney at the public expense. 17/12/1849: Arrived per "Success" Wife, Margaret nee Maher, 47, Farm Servant, parents: Thomas and Catherine Maher. She was able to read. John, 26, Labourer, able to read. Catherine 24, Farm Servant, illiterate Ann, 20, Farm Servant, illiterate Margaret, 18, Farm Servant, illiterate Thomas, 16, Labourer, able to read Benjamin, 14, Labourer, illiterate Martin, 24, and Norah, 20, are thought to have migrated to Canada. Mary, 7, is thought to have died in Ireland. John Snr., was working as a blacksmith with George Loder around Murrundi.
