Noah Brain was transported on the Royal Admiral, departing 28th Feb 1800 and arriving 20th Nov 1800 with 305 passengers.
The Royal Admiral was built at Lynn in 1828. Convicts were transported to New South Wales on the Royal Admiral in 1830, 1833, 1835 and to Van Diemen's Land in 1842. 1833 - Ship; Royal Admiral. Commenced fitting as a Convict Transport at Deptford on the 29 March. Surgeon Superintendent [Andrew Henderson] joined on the 3rd April. Guard embarked on the 13th. Sailed on the 17th and anchored in Kingston Barbour near Dublin on the 9th May. 220 convicts embarked on the 16 May 1833 and the ship sailed from Dublin Bay for Sydney on the 4th June and arrived there on the 20 October. Originally embarked with 221 convicts, 5 Died at sea, 1 was Relanded. 11 sick on shore, The convicts were described as 220 such wretchedly debilitated creatures ... Sentence expired 1812, however he received a pardon in 1814. 1814 muster: Noah Bryan, free, off stores, R.Admiral 2, labourer 1816 NSW Settler and Convict List: Noah Bryan, "landholder Baulkham Hills" 1 June 1820: In a Memorial asking for land, Noah Bryan states that he "rents land at Toongabbee following agricultural pursuits". This memorial is endorsed "30 acres". 24 Dec 1820 Noah Bryan: In list of suppliers to Store, fresh pork supplied 31 Mar 1821: 30 aces, ordered by Macquarie. Promisee Name: Noah Bryan Toongabbie 13 Nov 1821 Noah Bryan in a list of 17 people ordered "to remove off the Government Lands at Toongabbee with the whole of their flocks and herds, at the end of six months", as the land was to be used for Government use 1822: Noah Bryan grant, resident on farm, 2 acres wheat, 2 acres maize 1825 Noah O'Brian CP. 'Landholder Parramatta & Melville' 1828 Noah Brian Age: 70.
