Isaac Brake was transported on the Waterloo, departing 18th Nov 1834 and arriving 3rd Mar 1835 with 226 passengers.
1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, Ancestry 1802-1849 for Isaac Brake Leviathan Register 1801-1836 NAME: Isaac Brake AGE: 24 ESTIMATED BIRTH YEAR: 1810 DATE RECEIVED: 06/09/1836 SHIP: Leviathan (Hulk) PLACE MOORED: Portsmouth DATE CONVICTED: 19/07/1834 PLACE CONVICTED: Dorchester SENTENCE: Life CRIME: Manslaughter Tasmanian Library: Gaol record. Stated his manslaughter of William Hall. I was in the preventitives force and had a pistol with me and he attempted to take it from me and it went off in the struggle. Surgeons report Conduct orderly and quiet throughout the voyage. Assigned to Mr Radcliffe. Description: Born 1809. Ploughman 5' 8 3/4" Hazel eyes Black hair and moles on each arm. Hulk report good. 10/6/1829 Radcliffe/ Committed for trial for a felony. Discharged by Attorney General who permitted that he be kept on hard labour for 6 months. Died 9/7/1843
