Some discrepancies in his age - Michael was listed as being born in 1800 and 27 years old on arrival in NSW on the Irish Convicts to NSW database. He was married with 1 child and his native place was Queens County.

Further conviction at Sydney, NSW 03/08/1836 for intent to kill by stabbing. His defense was that the man, who lived at Newcastle, stabbed himself. Death sentence, commuted to Life, in irons. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Lady Franklin', arriving 12/10/1845. Roman Catholic; can read & write; Gent's servant; 5'1 1/2"; aged 55yrs; fresh complexion; brown hair; Hazel eyes; married, 1 child. Native Place: Queens County. Station Gang in VDL: Port Cygnet 1yr. Emerged from Gang 15 May 1846. Ticket of Leave: 20/10/1846 Conditional Pardon 14/11/1848 Died in hospital 12/01/1857
