(The passengers comprised 30 Pensioner Guards and their families.)

William Bransby along with William Campbell and William Beaver pleaded guilty to robbery of a dwelling house at Easingwold, North Yorkshire. They were sentenced to be 'severely transported for ten years'.




William Barnsby was the son of Benjamin, 5’6 ½” tall, single, brown hair, blue eyes, long face, sallow complexion, slight build, part of a cross on left arm and 5 dots on left hand. 29/8/1854: TOL 26/4/1856: CP 31/10/1861: married Mary Ann ATKINS, b1840 (England), who arrived per "Emma Eugenia" 25/8/1858. 5 children, Anna Maria born 1860, George, Joseph born 1861 and died 1862, William born 1863 and Benjamin born 1869. YORK 1859 Census: was a labourer. PERTH Brickmaker 1860's. C1869: A sawyer at Picton. Wife a Dressmaker. 25/3/1919: William died at the Perth Hospital.




Electoral Role Information. The butcher was William Bransby's son.
