Married in the Church of St Joseph. Phillip aged 30 years old, Blacksmith Catherine Brennan ** aged 30 years, servant 1851 - Census. Lived in a Wood house, inhabited. 3 person residing in the house 1852 - Free Certificate. 30 March 1852 1861 - APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE QUEENS ORPHAN SCHOOL. Application made by The superintendent of City Police. 23 October 1861. Name of Child;- James Glyn. Aged; 10 years 9 months & 21 days Born; 2 January 1851 Baptised by Rev'd Dunn at Richmond Father ; Phillip Glen or Glyn per Ship; North Briton Status; Dead. Mother; Catherine Brannon per Ship; Waverly. Residence; Unknown Certificate; 19 January 1854 notes from the application "This boy was admitted to the orphan school on the 19 January 1859 and remained there for about 12 months, The mother Catherine Brannon UX Glen was a servant in the school and on leaving took the boy with her, was at that time a widow, subsequently married John McKeany, who was for some time a Constable at Port Macquarie 15 Dec 1860 tried to get the boy & girl to Mr. Lester and left them. The boy had been found by the police in the streets destitute, The mother was found and the application to the Orphan School cancelled. 1873 - Tried, Supreme Court Hobart Town. 13 May 1873.
