John Brett was 33 years old, his occupation was a Thresher/Reaper and his native place was Tirawley, Ireland. 1825: Government employ, Emu Plains. 1825: On lists of convicts employed by Archibald Bell. 22/1/1825: William Price of Richmond wished to have Brett assigned to him. 1/3/1825: Re request of his assignment to William Price. Was then assigned to John Henry Stead and George Stevens in around Queanbeyan in 1845. 11/12/1829: Permission to marry Jane Williams 18 and born in the Colony, John was 40. They married in 1829 at St Matthew's, Windsor. Found no issue. 1843: TOL Queanbeyan 1845: TOL Queanbeyan. 3/4/1852: TOL Cancelled for being absent from his district of Queanbeyan.
