He was was my great great grandfather and lived in Marylebone London, married to Jane. He had previously done 12th months for theft in 1840. In 1857 he got 15 years transportation for throwing acid over a neighbour, ref www.old baily.org ref.t18570615. Was in Portsmouth convict jail till Nov.10 1860 when he sailed for Freemantle arriving Feb 11 1861. I think he got his ticket of leave March 1865.
