Stephen Brett, for having, together with the aforesaid Edward Lawrence, burglariously broken and entered the dwelling-house of Richard Laslett, in the parish of Petham, and stolen therefrom, one gaberdine, and thirty pds weight of Cheshire cheese, the property of the said Richard Laslett.—Guilty, DEATH. Kentish Weekly Post, 28 July 1820.
