Married 23/2/1835 to Sarah Wilson - arrived Earl of Liverpool. She died in Bene. Asylum West Maitland 11/9/1889. There is some confusion in regard to crime -details 1980s records were - Occupation costermonger - Crime hare stealing Sentence 14 years but in recent years I have seen Crime - horse stealing Sentence death so I am not sure which is correct. PRO Chancery Lane London letter 7/11/1983 advised "Felony file does exist but badly damaged" so at that time no information was obtained.
