16/8/1845 Sherborne Mercury Dorset, England: SOMERSETSHIRE ASSIZES James Flower, George Bridges, and Jonah Sage, for breaking the dwelling-house of Jno. West, and stealing three silver tea spoons. Jonah Sage and James Flower were both on board. 19/5/1847: Off Norfolk Island. George bridges was 26 years old on arrival (1847) in VDL - he was single, 5'5 3/4" tall, ruddy complexion, dark brown hair and whiskers, grey eyes, Native place: Farmborough, Somersetshire, single, can read, protestant, R. B. back of left hand ring middle finger same hand G B below thumb joint. 8/8/1854: TOL 22/7/1856: CP 1853: Married Elizabeth Blunt (St Vincent 1849) at Hobart - no children listed.
