Bridget received a longer sentence than others for cow stealing. She was convicted in Galway Town, a Margaret Mannion was convicted on the same day, October 18. Both girls were received at Grangegorman on dec 20. Bridget was five foot one, brown hair , fair complexion, single and not able to read or write. She had been in court once before.
