On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. 1825: Patrick BRIEN – free by servitude – Mary 1819, employed by Richard Brooks, Minto (see NSW and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849, New South Wales General muster A-L 1825).
1825, 28 April: Patrick BRIEN – Certificate of Freedom #126/3609 – per Mary 1, 1819; tried Cork City, Lent 1818; seven years; native place Co Cork; labourer; 34, 5’6”, ruddy complexion, brown hair and blue eyes. General remarks: Ticket of Leave No 2/936 delivered up and cancelled. Notation: Renewed on 2 August 1827, #27/775, the original having been delivered mutilated (see NSW, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1814, 1827-1867).
1819: Patrick BRIEN 27, 5’6”, fair ruddy complexion, dark brown hair, blue eyes, native place County Cork (see NSW Convict Indents, 1788-1842; Bound Indentures 1818-1819).
