Sarah BRITTLE was convicted at Warwick June 1822 for stealing cheese. 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Brothers' 1824. 1825: Absent without leave. Sent to the Female Factory. 23 April 1825: a Sarah Brittle died in hospital. Aged 40yrs.
