Joshua BROADLEY was convicted at Kingston-upon-Hull, York, England on 17 July 1828 for stealing wearing apparel. Previous convictions. 7 yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Georgiana' arriving 1829. Aged 22yrs; farmer's labourer - can plough. Married. Wife - Sarah BROADLEY VDL: 1834: Ticket of Leave 1834: at Campbell Town, VDL.
