11/11/1835 Taunton Courier, and Western Advertiser Somerset, England: TRANSPORTATION._LIFE.__Aquila Broadrib and John Marks, for stealing a cheese of John Rippen. John Marks arrived VDL per 'Henry Porcher 1836. Listed as Aquilla Brodrib on arrival. Aquilla was born at Broughton and was 32 years old on arrival. He was Single, 5'4½" tall, dark hair, grey eyes, scar on brow, great many scars on forehead. Occupation: Waggoner. 9/3/1839: Working as a Post Messenger in the district of Launceston. 23/9/1845: TOL 3/2/1849 Launceston Examiner: Aquila Broadrib, CP. 1858: Married Ellen McKay in Victoria. No children listed. 1883: Aquilla Broadribb died at Skipton, Victoria, aged 80.
