Patrick was transported for the ‘manslaughter of Thomas Sweeney, ‘he followed me out of a Public House through a Row, & struck me I returned it with a Knife which I had open in my hand, and he died soon after’. 1835: Assigned to James Glover, Esq. 27/3/1848: COF 31/3/1849: Drunk – in Hobart.




On 31st July 1834 Brogan got into an altercation in Liverpool and stabbed the other person, causing them to die four days later from their injuries. Initially charged with murder, he was found guilty of the lesser charge.
