Thomas Bromage was 33 years old on arrival in VDL – birth date given as 1799. Thomas was 5’4 ¼” tall, brown hair, reddish whiskers, grey eyes, florid complexion, married – wife Mary and 1 child at native place: near Kingston, Radnorshire. His occupation was a ‘Plumber/painter and glazier’. 1833-35 Musters: Invalided. 29/6/1841: TOL August 1847: CP Quite a few convictions for being drunk after his CP. 11/7/1876: Thomas died of ‘Natural Decay' aged 71?? at the New Norfolk Hospital for the insane and was buried at the Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Pauper’s Section. No further marriage found.
