Thos. Brooks, for stealing two sheep-skins, the property of J. Withey, of Clifton; Cheltenham Chronicle, 24 Jan 1828. ---------------------------------------------------- On Tuesday last the undermentioned convicts were removed from our County Gaol to the Justitia Hulk, at Woolwich, preparatory their embarkation for New South Wales, under their sentence of transportation for seven years, viz. Richard Wheeler, William Cratchley, Thomas Brooks, John Cordy, D. Cook, Samuel Munden, Corn. Bendall, James Hobbs, William Shemett, Ed. Molt, Thomas Hughes, P. Shelwood, alias Blanket, John Dart, and Thomas Wilson,— At the same time John Browning was removed to the Penitentiary Millbank.
