Hannah's first husband Thomas Dykes is my maternal great great grandfather. He left Launceston on 29.4.1841 bound for Port Phillip. He marries Ellen Reardon on 10.1.1842 in Parramatta NSW. He lived to be an old man, passing away 8.5.1882

Married Thomas Dykes on 26/4/1837 in Launceston. He at the time had a ticket of leave, but she was listed as convict. I could not find proof of him dying, but on 31/7/1843 at York Street Baptist Chapel, Launceston she marries Thomas Huxley where she is listed as widow? Thomas Huxley was a convict but he received his ticket of freedom in 1830. At the time of their marriage he was butcher. Hannah and her husband Thomas Huxley relocated to Portland, Victoria where they both later died and buried.
Hannah Brown (18) married Thomas Dyke on 26th April 1837. By 1843 she married Thomas Huxley as a widow. Both marriages were in Launceston. Hannah then went to Portland Victoria and lived til she was 45 years old when she died of cancer of the womb. She adopted one son named Edward Samuel Brown aka Huxley also born in Launceston.
