1831, 30 December: Jeremiah Brown was tried and convicted in the High Court, Edinburgh, and sentenced to transportation for seven years 1832: On arrival in VDL, he was listed as single, and a farmer's labourer aged 19 (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-5$init=CON31-1-5p11).https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON18-1-6$init=CON18-1-6p117).
