Identifier 2 - Tried York (West Riding) on 11/4/1837 - 7 years. (Ship Robbery).
Identifier 3 - Tried York City on 27/2/1836 14 years. (Picking Pockets).
John Brown was listed as 23 years old on arrival.
Native Place: Cheshire.
Transported for Stealing rabbits.
John was literate, protestant, single, 5’7” tall, dark sallow complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, many tattoos.
17/6/1840: Aged 26, was at Paterson, NSW.
23/12/1840: Paterson NSW., Apprehended after absconding from H. J. Durbin.
4/3/1843: TOL Moreton Bay. Allowed to remain in the District of Moreton Bay - Brisbane Bench.
