The convict indentures state that Marcella Brown was 22 years old. She could read and write; religion Protestant; status married with one daughter and a native of County Westmeath. She was a house maid. Marcella was convicted of stealing money at King's County on 22 June 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 3 1/2 inches; complexion fair and freckled; hair red and eyes grey. Transport number 31. Prisoner number 31-38.
