N.B.There are two Mary Brown's on this voyage. Aged 24yrs; country servant; single, but had lived with William Irving for 18mths; Presbyterian; can read; 5'1 1/4"; sallow complexion; lt brown hair; blue eyes. Native Place - Co.Armagh Father - Bryan at Liverpool Sister- Jane Services in Hobart district.

Mary Brown (identifier 1 on this voyage) was convicted at Co. Armagh on 10/07/1850 for the murder of her infant child. Life sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar' arriving 29/05/1851.
