... and Mary Brown, for robbing the shop of Mr. Swan, of Caistor, are convicted, and have received sentence of death. Stamford Mercury, 20 March 1789. At the assizes for this county (besides George Kilpike and Mary Brown, mentioned in our last paper) the following prisoners were convicted, viz. … Of the nine who received sentence of death, three only, viz. … were left for execution, … Stamford Mercury, 27 March 1789.
