Robert aged 8 years old - supports himself a cowhand, the mentioned in tha application and Amelia - 2 years old. Husband is a patient in the Colonial Hospital, his legs were broken on the 12th of July. will be in the Hospital for several months. 1864 - 16 December 1864. Mother has applied for the discharge of the children

Robert died in 1911 of senile decay. At that time he was living in New Norfolk, at the home of his daughter Ann who had married Llewellyn Cleaver.

At the age of 22, Robert was arrested for stealing a quantity of meat. He was tried at the Cambridge Assizes in July 1840 and sentenced to transportation for life. Robert came to Australia on the Tortoise.
