The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser (NSW : 1803 - 1842) View title info Thu 15 Sep 1825 Page 3 Classified Advertising THE UNDERMENTIONED Prisoners having ab- sented themselves from their respective Employments, and some of them at large with false Certificates, all Constables and others are hereby required to use their utmost Exertions in lodging them in safe Custody:--- 1. Brown, William Norfolk, 26, Liverpool, 5 feet 3 and a half, blue eyes, dark brown hair, brown complexion, from Mr. S. Terry's Clearing Party.

From Liverpool England. Originally sent to Australia on the Norfolk 1825 then escaped on the same ship to India. Single catholic who could not read or write. 5' 3 1/2" brown complexion dark brown hair and blue eyes.
