Matilda Browne was 26 years old on arrival in NSW. Crime was not listed and her occupation was a 'Town/Country Servant'. Matilda's native place was Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. 28/1/1828: COF 25/5/1832: Permission to marry - John Burgess (Waterloo 1829) who was aged 30 and 'on bond' to Matilda, aged 36, Free. They married in 1832 at St Luke's, Liverpool - no children found on BDM.
