War Office Records. Registers Court Martial. Private Robert Bruce, 76th Regt, Tried at Kilkenny, 27 May, 1828 for Desertion. Sentence: Transportation for as a felon for 14 years and sent to New South Wales; Case sent 10 June 1828 for confirmation before the King.
