Bridget Bryan was convicted at Waterford on 11/7/1850 for Arson - houseburning. 15yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar', arriving 1851. Roman Catholic; can read; single; laundress; aged 22yrs; 4'11"; fair complexion; red hair; lt Hazel eyes; native place of birth - Tipperary. Ship Surgeon's Report: Good. Assignments of service in the Colony in Hobart district. Clear conduct record. Ticket of Leave 9/9/1854 Conditional Pardon 20/5/1856
