The guard consists of Captain Bull (with Mrs. Bull, 4 children, and 1 female servant), and 30 rank and file of the 99th Regt., - 4 women, and 6 children. Colonial Times (Hobart) 25 Oct 1842.

Convict Notes




Supreme Court. Friday 5th October. James Crossen and Michael Bryan, were indicted for stealing on 26th August, one quart of wine, of the value of 2s., the same being the property of Mr. Patrick Monaghan, their master. The prisoners were acquitted. Launceston Examiner, 6 Oct 1849.
