David Bucktrout was listed as 20 years old on arrival in VDL - his native place was Stockport and he was transported for 'Stealing old iron'. David was 5'5" tall, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, single, can read, D.B. on back of right hand, fing on ring finger right hand, Lost two fingers of left hand, scar corner of right ??, scar on left arm. Father: Richard Mother: Ellen at native place. 3 Sisters. 8/11/1847: David Bucktrout accidentally drowned in the Derwent River.
