Married Mary Ann Kendall in Cottingham, Yorkshire Dec 1828. Daughter Caroline Bugg born in Cottingham in 1830. Trial 30 Dec 1833 in Beverley. York Castle Prison, Feb 1834. Held on the Ganymede hill at Woolwich before transportation on the Bengal Merchant. Ticket of Leave 30 April, 1840. Cert of Freedom 9 July 1841. Settled in Carcoar. Married Mary A Brown 1853. Mary died 1866. Married Anna Barrett nee Pearce in 1869. He died in 1878. Buried CoE cemetery in Carcoar.

Born 1805 Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire, England to Sarah Bugg. Married Mary Ann Kendall Cottingham 1828. Daughter Caroline Bugg born 1832. Convicted of stealing two flitches of bacon, one woollen cloth, one sheet, a quantity of wearing apparel and some flour. Sentenced to 7 years. From Beverley House of Correction to York Castle then to Gangmede Hulk at Woolwich before transportation on Bengal Merchant. ToL 30 April 1840 (residence of Mrs Innes?). Abscondment Oct 1840, advertised Jan 1841. CoF 9 July 1841. Carcoar NSW; Married Mary A Brown 1853. Purchased land at Macquarie Swamp, Carcoar. Mary died 1866. Anthony BOGG: Probably same person? Anthony Bogg married Anna Barratt (nee Anna Pierce m. William Barrett 1854). Anthony Bogg died 1879. Farm land at Macquarie Swamp left to wife Anna Bogg. Anna died 1879. First wife, Mary Ann Kendall, died 1889.

Anthony Bugg was 29 years old and was transported for "Stealing Bacon". 1840: TOL Bathurst 9/7/1841: COF 1853: Married Mary A Brown, Carcoar - no children listed. 1853: Had a farm at Mount Macquarie, Carcoar - had cattle stolen. 18/6/1859: Was and elector in the District of Carcoar 5/2/1871: Gave a subscription at the opening of the Catholic Church at Carcoar. No date of death found.
