New South Wales, Australia, Convict Applications for the Publication of Banns, 1828-1830, 1838-1839 1838 (Reel 827) 2 page letter from brother John Bull in England detailing the death of his wife and others in his previous community and that his 2 female children were being looked after. This letter was shown as proof that his first wife had died. Did not appear that this was considered enough proof that his wife had died. Permission was granted on 8/8/1838
