Initial marriage to Thomas Ward (Third Fleet Convict, 1791, "Admiral Barrington") as stated above was without issue. The defacto relationship with Thomas Cowling (Convict, 1792, "Pitt") and Elizabeth did produce a child, a son, Cuthbert, born 1813.

On the 11th November 1794, ELIZABETH BULLER and ALICE BULLER were indicted for stealing, the 19th of September, a watch, with an inside case made of pinchbeck and an outside case made of tortoiseshell, value 10s. a base metal watch chain, value 1s. a pair of silver shoe buckles, value 10s. two silver tea spoons, value 3s. a white counterpane, value 3s. a set of white and blue bed furniture, value 5s. two miniature pictures, value 4s. and three chair covers, value 2s. the goods of Edward Bullock. .... evidence was then given, involving several witnesses, including Edward Bullock, ....Elizabeth had been a servant in the household for some time but had left his service only two days before the robbery......... Elizabeth Buller. I have nothing to say. Alice Buller. I have nothing to say. Court. Have either of you any witnesses to call? - NO. Elizabeth Buller , GUILTY .(Aged 22.) Transported for seven years . Alice Buller , Not GUILTY . Tried by the second Middlesex Jury before Mr. Baron HOTHAM.




Mother of Cuthbert Cowling (born 1813 at Castlereagh - died 1898 at Balmain) Married Thomas Ward. The marriage failed. No issue. Associated then with Thomas Cowling (c1765-1835). Elizabeth died on or about her 47th birthday at Castlereagh NSW.
