The following report may relate to this person, and may be the previous conviction. Sarah, wife of Joseph Bulpin, of Bathpool, is committed till the Sessions, having been detected in stealing a piece of ribbon from the shop of Mr. John Stephens, mercer, in this town. Taunton Courier, 6 May 1829.
Somerset Assizes. Sarah Bulpin, receiving cheese it known to be stolen; Bath Chronicle, 15 April 1830. -------------------------------------------------- The following female convicts were removed from Ilchester gaol to the ship Kains, lying at Woolwich, in the river Thames, for New South Wales, viz. Sarah Holding, Rebecca Coles, Mary Hardy, and Ann Ford, for life; and Sarah Bulpin, for 14 years ; also Ann Tow, for 14 years to the General Penitentiary at Milbank. Bath Chronicle, 1 July 1830
