His Wife Harriot Holloway died in St Mary Bourne, Hampshire in 1839 He remarried in New South Wales in 1841 to Mary Jordan from Co Wicklow, Ireland. she died in Goulburn, New South Wales on 13th July 1873 aged 59 years
