At the assizes … which, ended Monday, the 14 following prisoners were capitally convicted and received sentence of death, viz. … Henry Burgess, for breaking open the compting house of Robert Reeve of Halesworth; … Before the Judge left town, he reprieved the 4 last. The other 10 were left for execution. Ipswich Journal, 20 March 1790.
