Birth of child on board ship: Medical Journal of the 'Woodman' British National Archives, ADM 101/75/6/1 Description Folios 6-7: Margaret Burke, aged 25, prisoner, married; taken ill at Cork Harbour; sick or hurt, when came on board her appearance was that of a woman seven months in pregnancy she could give no account of her state nor could she give any rational answer to the questions asked, at 8 pm last night she was delivered of a female child, from it's diminutive size it appears to be a seven months child, it is weak and emaciated; put on sick list 14 January 1823, recovered 21 January 1823.

1828 New South Wales, Australia Census (Australian Copy) for Margaret Barry Listed as arriving on the Woodman and working as a housemaid residence Clarendon at Windsor. Husband William Barry per the Recovery is also listed at the same residence and working for William Cox bot age 27. Also have two children, Margaret age 4 and John age 2 New South Wales, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1814, 1827-1867 (NRS 12210) Butts of Certificates of Freedom 1829 August 31 Cert no 29/868 5' 5 3/4" high Ruddy freckled complexion. Brown hair blue eyes. Wife of William Barry of the second recovery
