Patrick Burke was a native of Cork Co. He was aged 30 when convicted at Cork in 1827 for sheep-stealing and was sentenced to 7 years transportation. His trade was house servant.

In NSW census 1828, he is in the household of settler, John Liscombe , aged 30, a police clerk and his wife and child at Bathurst Settlement.

Patrick Burk ( or Buck?), C.G.S., age 30, (Eliza, 1827, 7 yrs,) house servant, catholic.
Several others living in the household.
