Irish convict Database, by Peter Mayberry. Peter Burns, alias Byrne, Byrnes, age 24, per Cambridge (1827) tried at Armagh, Life, for Robbery house, DOB 1803, native place, Dundalk Louth Co. Single, Catholic, Coach man post boy. --------------------------------------------------- ADM 101/15/5 1827 Medical journal of the Cambridge, convict ship, for 10 May to 29 September 1827 by William Gregor, Surgeon and Superintendent, during which time the said ship was employed as a transport. Folios 35-37: Peter Byrne, aged 30, prisoner, taken ill at sea; sick or hurt, diarrhoea, acute griping pains and frequent purging, nausea, pulse quick and hard; put on sick list 24 August 1827, discharged 10 September 1827. --------------------------------------------------- Convict Index 1791-1873.
