Married convict Peter Kehoe 14 Jul 1851 in Hobart, with no known children. Then by 1854 had separated, each taking on new partners: Peter in the Victorian goldfields, and Teresa in Hobart partnered with Thomas Walker. Together they had a son, John Thomas Walker Sr, born 3 July 1854.




Teresa Burrows was convicted at Dublin on 10 July 1848 for stealing a watch. Previous convictions. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Lord Auckland' arriving 20 Jan 1849. Ship Surgeon's Report: very good. Proper name recorded as "Preston". Aged 28yrs; housemaid; 4'11"; Roman Catholic; can read a little. Native place - Dublin, Ireland. Brother - John Sister - Cecelia Assigned into services in the Colony. Application for permission to marry. Married Peter Keheo /Keogh (transported per 'Tory') 1851. Ticket of leave 9 Aug 1853.
