The Convict Indentures states that Anne Butler is 18 years old. She could neither read or write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and is a native of County Longford. She is a kitchen maid. Anne was convicted of stealing money at Galway on 20 October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had one prior conviction and served 2 months. Physical attributes: Height 4 feet 11 3/4 inches; complexion ruddy and freckled; hair light brown and eyes grey. Transport number 152. Prisoner number 151-38.
